Interlaken, Switzerland

so interlaken was our first stop. i posted our first and second day but iv decided to just post about each city cause 16 posts is a little much.

the rest of interlaken..

we went up the The Schilthorn to the new james bond exhibit and then we stopped in cute Murren. we took Gondolas up the mountain

 the gondola ride was fun. you are SO high! 

 we stopped and made our lunch again, and johnny is really into apples lately

 we then got back down to murren. its a little town on the edge of a cliff. its nuts.

we loved interlaken!

Day 2

So the first night was alittle rough. we were all off schedule and over tired. we forced our selves up and did a big day trip to The Top of Europe!

The Jungfrau 

its about a two hour train ride up the mountain, and it is beautiful! i love trains here cause you get to see everything while traveling to your next stop. we met a great older couple from London who told us alot about the Jungfrau and the surrounding areas, good places to stop and places to see. This trip was their 38th year in a row coming to Interlaken. its their favorite place.

 when we got to the top we walked through the ice palace, and then walked around out side in the snow to see the view. it was SO pretty!

 we brought stuff to make lunch. so we found a little nook where no one was sitting and made sandwiched and had apples and dried appercots.

EuroAdventure: Day 1

we left Salt Lake at 8:00am and flew to Phildelphia. we had a 3 hour layover (which was great for johnny to walk and eat) and then flew the long flight to Switzerland!
we landed in Zurich and took a train to Interlake. It was 8:00am the next day!
we finally got to our B&B got settled and took a little nap. Johnny had been so good, and i felt like he need some alone down time in his own space alseep.
when we woke up we were all alot happier. we just walked around Interlaken-West the rest of the afternoon, got some dinner and then walked until the sun went down.
i couldnt believe how pretty is was there. and clean. and quiet.
