4 months

This sweet little guy is 4 months old today! I just keeps flying by...

Quick trip

On Friday Jake Johnny and I edt for St George to meet my parents for the weekend! My cousin got home from his mission and we went for his homecoming talk. We got there late and net them at the hotel, got some dinner and just went to bed.
On Saturday we went Up to Pine Valley. It's beautiful there! We walked through this amazing old church built by a ship maker, and the frame of the church is that of and upside down ship!

We went on a drive and got some lunch and then went back to the hotel for a few people to take naps..

We went to church today and saw lots of family. Brock did a great job, it was great to see everyone!

It was a fun, fast weekend!

Dinner group

Dinner group has started up again! Last week was nick and shayla. Jake and I had this week! Jake got a BBQ when we moved back and he has been all about it!
So we made shishkabobs, rice pilaf and salad. A great summer meal if you ask me.









We made veggie and chicken kabobs. Veggies were red onion, red bell pepper, zucchini, and yellow squash. The chicken was fresh pineapple, red onion, red pepper and chicken!







Then for dessert we grilled peaches and put vanilla icecream on it, yummmmm

Labor day

Yesterday was labor day, jake didn't have school.
We started the day off slow just lounging around playing on the floor with Johnny. Then we walked over to nick and shayla's yard sale! It was almost over so we just hung out and cleaned up a little. Then we went with them over to shaylas patents for lunch! After lunch me jake nick shayla her dad Andre and brother inlaw Colin played trivial pursuit! IV never played but it was really fun!my team was shayla and Andre. Andre knows ALOT! I guess it's that south African education, and we won!!






Then after the game Judy, shaylas mom set up Crockett in the back yard and we all played! Johnny slept on the couch the whole time, and woke up at the last 30 minutes of Crockett.

After the fun day with the Brummers jake and I went to re grocery store to stock up because we haven't had any food since being back in Utah! Then we went on a little late night walk over to Kerry and Austin's house.
It was a great day off!

Nursery rhymes

So I'm not the best singer, I actually can't carry a tune at all. But while we were home for the summer my mom would sing little rhymes to Johnny that sounded familiar but I couldn't remember all the words or tunes. But I knew I could Handel a little rhyme here and there. So IV been searching for my favorites online and taking screen shots to practice.
