summer...

our summer will be a little different then expected, jake got an internship at...

he is so excited, and cancer is something he is really interested in. John Wayne is in Santa Monica, CA which means we will be moving home for the summer! he starts june 20th and goes til august 24th, its about 10 weeks. the only obstical was my job, i love where i work and i didnt want to quit, but i wasnt going to just let jake go home without me. so i asked my boss today for a leave, and i went great! i got the whole 10 weeks off, and get to come back to work the end of august. its going to be a great summer, and we are really excited.

well, we got a sneak peak of spring last week, but of course this week is cold and wet, again.

but we are ready for plants, and sun, and bbq's and just being out side. for now, we are bringing

the outside in.

ikea is one of my favorite places. and these are so cute, and easy to put up.

we have a marigold flower, stwarberry plant, pink snapdragons, sweet basil, and mint.

family weekend

this week was jacobs birthday! i was talking to my mom saying we were going to dinner with them and grayson and brittany. she said she wished she could come, and i said "just come!" so we looked at flights and the next day she was here!

we supprised jacob with her just showing up at dinner with us. we went to an italian place at the gateway, it was really good.

it was a really nice weekend, good weather and family.
