Thanks Giving

We headed down to Escalante on Tuesday afternoon for the long weekend. We met my parents there and then Jacob Carissa and Grayson and Brittany came Wednesday night. My mom and I cooked Wednesday and then on Thursday we continued to get ready for dinner and Brittany help with the cooking. I love the cooking part, just being together and chatting. The boys went out and about both days. Dinner was with the whole Meisenbach side of the family. I love it!
On Friday morning we had a family breakfast and my dad Grayson and jake got stuck in the ranger on the mountain (Wayne ran into a tree and popped a tire) and Jacob went to save them. On Friday evening we had 2nd Thanksgiving!
On Sunday we went to see Uncle johnnys new cows! and then we took the rangers out and went for a little hike. We got back to the house and packed up. We headed home around 4:30. At 6:30 we had just passed Loa and we hit a deer! Major bummer. It put a hole in our radiator and my parents had to come save us and take us back to Escalante. Jacob and Grayson stayed with us for a while and both made it home safely. We are now using a rental car and are back in Provo.

Christmas is usually setup befor thanksgiving for us because jake gets done with school mid December and we head home to California to celebrate the holiday! BUT we have our own early Christmas befor we leave. And we set up early so we can enjoy it for a few weeks. So we got our tree this weekend! Of course a live tree.

Happy 1/2 birthday

Johnny is 6 months old! Half a years has flown by! I wish it would all slow down, I wish the baby stage could last longer (I'm already morning him getting old and he's still a baby!)
Johnny is so fun. Very social and loves to smile at people.
