whale watching

when your 2.5 year old loves whales, you find him some whales. johnny has lots of whales, knows lots of whale facts, and has a whale poster above his bed, a humpback whale shirt, and shorts!

 i was driving to get my hair cut and saw a sign for the Dana Point Whale Festival! i sent it to jake and we decided to go.

i have to say, it wasn't as awesome as we had hoped. BUT we did get on a whale watching tour which was great! we saw California Gray whales. johnny of course said they were humpbacks (his favorite) and loved it. he also loved the fact that we were on a boat!

after the whale watching we got in the car and johnny requested fireworks. so we headed to disneyland for the evening. we decided to make it a johnny day and did whatever he wanted. 

we had a blast.

February! i loved you.

February was SUCH a fun month! the whole thing.

we had visitors and visitors and a wedding.

we met adam, ashley and the twins at disneyland, and hit up their Bday party. 

Kerry came home! for THREE weeks! it was wonderful. and nick and shayla came to visit for presidents weekend (3rd year in a row, its tradition now!)

while kerry was here we had early morning donuts, bowling lunch dates, mom lunch dates, late night hang out, beach days, hiking days and park days. like i said, wonderful.

I'm behind..

i turned 26! i have to say i like 26, i like where i am and i like my life. 26 feels real good.

we played outside a lot and hit up disneyland. 

millie started pulling herself up and standing. she love the independence.

johnny is all about his bike. he is SO much fun. i cut his nap out so he'd go to bed earlier. its working really well, he sleeps from 8pm to 8am. but some days he falls asleep on the couch. it'll take a while to get used to being up all day.
