time has gotten away from me.
heres a bit of an update from us and what we have been doing.
we have really liked living in california. we spend a lot of time at the beach, mostly our evenings. and we go to disneyland often, why not!
when we need to get out of the very busy Orange county area we head to Newbury Park. it really is so nice to get to NP and be able to "breath" again. and having my parent house with the big backyard for johnny to play is a great perk. also when his BFF cousins are there, he's the happiest boy.
-December 2013
christmas was really fun this year! we had early christmas while grayson, brittany and everett were here. and then we got to do it all again on christmas day at my parents with adam ashley and the twins! johnny was so cute to watch and got so excited over it all.
then Jakes little sister emily got married a few days later! She and Mike got married in the LA temple, it was such a pretty day and we love mike! (we love you too Em!)

we had a little new years party around 8pm and then we were asleep by 11pm. woohoo!
we then went for a hike new years day with my parents.
the rest of January was pretty mellow. jake started school back up and johnny and i had every day life and routine.
- February 2014
February was fun. the twins turned 2, so we got to party, twice! they had a little one on their bday and then a bigger one that weekend.
we had visitors, grayson came to visit, he had a fire interview, and nick and shayla came down to see us too! but I'm lame and have no pictures of them.
and of course we hit the beach in the evenings as much as we can.
(also, yes I'm having a baby! a girl end of April)

this was also a really fun month!
Jake turned 26 yrs on the 25h. and i was his spring break so we went to escalante with my parents. it was really fun. and nice to get away.
Kerry and austin were also down here visiting from utah. we met them at disneyland and had a great time. it was warm during march so we hit the beach and played with the twin in my parents backyard on the weekends.

Daniel, jamie and lucy came down for his spring break and we met them at disneyland.
we also had easter at my parents house, and a little egg hunt.
and we've just been waiting for baby girl to arrive!
(johnny thinks he's a triplet and belongs to them)
