i cant believe my baby is one.
iv heard it so many times "it goes too fast" "dont blink or youll miss it"
its.so.true
it has been the fastest and best year. jake and i talk about it alot. how this year has been the very best. we've had a few things that could have made it not so great, but when you have this perfect little person always happy to have you there and so trusting and loving nothing could really be that bad.
johnny made me a mother and made jake a dad, and jake is great but jake as a dad is wonderful. he has made us both better people. becoming a parent makes you want to be the best version of yourself

so on his birthday we had a nice slow morning with toys and a nap. then we met my friend jamie for a little 1 year photo shoot. its was a fun afternoon. then when jake got home from work we went to dinner with some of our friend from Logan.
learning to be soft and only touch the flowers with one finger. its a challenge.
after dinner we got home and skyped and face time the grandparents and opened johnny presents. he was so cute to watch.
i think he had a pretty good first birthday!
we love this little boy so much and we feel so lucky that we get to be his parents.
