Johnny is TWO!

Johnny turned 2 years old on May 10th. 

if you know me, you know birthdays are a big deal. i have always loved my birthday (i think because my mom always made us feel so special on our birthdays) and i love when other people have birthdays! 

so just 3 days after Millie was born, and as a mom going from one child to two i felt guilty bringing a baby home to johnny. what if he didn't want a sister? or what of he wasn't ready? does he feel like he's being replaced? i had these thoughts the whole time i was pregnant. but luckily johnny is generally happy, and loves his baby! i still didn't want his birthday to be over looked, especially because we were all about the baby the days leading up to the 10th.

 i got home from the hospital on Friday.

Saturday (johnny birthday) Jake got up early with johnny and took him straight to the donut shop to get birthday donuts! and johnny LOVES donuts! he was thrilled! when johnny went down for his nap jake and i left both kids with my mom and went to the mall and to target to get johnny some birthday stuff. a few little gifts and a few decorations. i hadn't prepared for his birthday before hand..

and then Grayson, Brittany and Everett flew in saturday evening. so while my mom when to go pick them up from the airport i decorated and wrapped johnny gifts. i know he won't remember it but i had to do it. i needed to do it.

he love cars, trucks, airplanes, dogs and dinosaurs.

i think we made him feel special on his day.

Johnny is such a fun, sweet little boy. he makes us laugh multiple times a day. 

I'm so lucky i get to be his mom.
