jake got home early one day last week so we decided to hit the beach. i ordered an umbrella/dome thing that came the day before so i could take millie without having to deal with reapplying sunscreen on a tiny baby, and nurse her without over heating in the sun. jake is against umbrellas at the beach but oh well, it worked great and i liked it!
johnny enjoyed it too, he was in the sand and water most of the time but he did come sit in the shade and ate some grapes. its was a nice break.
it was millies first time to the beach during the day, without being bundled up and asleep. i think she enjoyed it! she kicked and smiled and then fell asleep for the last hour or so.
it was a really fun afternoon.
ahhh her little baby flower bottoms are adorable. & why is jake against umbrellas at the beach? those things are the absolute best with babies. i want one for our backyard.......
